GPD investigating armed robbery at Dollar Tree on Greenville Blvd

Greenville, N.C. (WNCT)-  The Greenville Police Department is responding to an armed robbery at the Dollar Tree on Greenville Blvd.

GPD tells WNCT they responded just after 9:30pm Sunday.

Officers say a black male with a long goatee, and wearing a gray sweatshirt, approached the employees as they were closing the store. The man did not show a weapon but implied that he had one.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the night deposit and took off.
