Beaufort Co. man facing drug, probation violation charges after chase

WASHINGTON, N.C. (WNCT) – An attempted traffic stop turned into a chase and ended with a Beaufort County man facing multiple charges in connection with trying to sell drugs.

Deputies said Jamale Stilley led them on a short chase Thursday after they tried to stop him on a probation violation.

When they caught up with him, they said he had cocaine, marijuana, and other drugs on him with the intent to sell.

Deputies said they also found a gun.
