Fire American Tavern set for mid-September opening in Greenville

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A brand new restaurant is coming to uptown Greenville.

Fire American Tavern plans to open in mid-September and will feature burgers, sliders, wings, crispy flatbreads, salads and more. The eatery will also feature 24 rotating draft beers and offer wide selection of bottle beers, wine and offer liquor by the drink.

Uptown Greenville said in a news release Wednesday that Fire will be open 7 days a week and will feature a flavorful menu for lunch and dinner as well as brunch on Sunday, including late night on Friday and Saturday. In addition to a full-service menu, Fire will also offer catering and rental space for private parties.

The eatery is looking for customer-first oriented individuals for table service, bartenders, cooks, utility staff and hosting. Open interviews will be held on Monday, August 22 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 23 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., and Wednesday, August 24 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Other interviews can be scheduled as needed. Applications are currently being accepted at fireamericantavern.com and will be available to complete at the open interview times.

The contact information on the restaurants website is the same address as the former Fitzgerald’s which closed over the winter.
