New Bern Police issue a warrant for a stabbing suspect

New Bern, N.C. (WNCT)- The New Bern Police Department is investigating a stabbing.

It happened Monday morning around 7:30.

Police say officers were called to the 1600 block of Concord Street in reference to a person stabbed.The victim was airlifted to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment. No word yet on how badly the victim was hurt during the incident.

During the course of the investigation police identified the suspect as 50-year-old Corey Hudson. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hudson.
