Police: Woman wanted for questioning in New Bern break-in, assault

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – Police are looking for a woman in connection with a Thursday morning assault and attempted arson.

It happened just before 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Jones Street.

The resident told officers responding to the scene that 25-year-old Raquisha C. Brothers broke into the home, assaulted him and set some clothes on fire. Brothers hasn’t been charged but is being sought for questioning.

The New Bern Fire Department responded and is assisting in the investigation.

Anyone with information about the incident or her whereabouts is asked to call police at 252-633-2020.
