Goldsboro man arrested on drug charges

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT)- The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Goldsboro man on drug charges.

On Wednesday, members of the Wayne County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team were working in the city of Goldsboro. While in the area of Seymour Drive, members of the ACE Team observed a hand to hand transaction take place between two individuals.

Members of the ACE Team approached subjects and found 21-year-old Rakim Karim Johnson with marijuana and digital scales.

Johnson was arrested and and charged with possession with intent to sell/distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was taken before a magistrate judge and received $4,000 bond.
