ECU gears up for football season at the AAC Media Days

NEWPORT, R.I. (WNCT) – The American Athletic Conference Media Days kicked off on Monday in Newport, R.I.

First-year head coach Scottie Montgomery was joined by WR Zay Jones and DB DeShaun Amos.

While previewing the 2016 season is the focus of the two-day affair, much of the attention will be on the handful of AAC schools that could soon call the Big 12 Conference home.

East Carolina has made a push for consideration in joining the Big 12.

WNCT’s Brian Bailey anchors our coverage from Newport, so be sure to stay tuned both on air and online for most developments from the AAC Media Days.
