GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Two people are facing multiple drug charges following a 2 month-long investigation by the Greenville Regional Drug Task Force and various other agencies involving the sale and distribution of marijuana.
Teldrick Darnell Spencer, 31, and Kelly Kishor Patel, 28, were both arrested and charged as a result of the probe that stretched from Pitt to Wilson and Wake counties.
Spencer is facing 1 count of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana after Officers conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday July 26 and found him in possession of 4 ounces of marijuana. Spencer was arrested and given a $20,000 secured bond.
Patel has been charged with 2 counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, 2 counts of maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the sale of controlled substances, and 1 count of conspiring to sell and deliver marijuana. A search of Patel’s residence and vehicle resulted in the seizure of 4 pounds of marijuana and $5400.00 cash. Patel was arrested on Wednesday July 27, but has since bonded out of jail.
