JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A suspect has been arrested in the armed robbery of Filipino Pho Cuisine.
According to Jacksonville Public Safety, the investigation revealed two masked suspects entered the restaurant located at 331C Western Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. on July 27th.
The first suspect approached the counter while the second suspect locked the front door. Both suspects were armed with handguns. The first suspect pointed a gun at the clerk behind the counter and demanded money. After taking the money and the clerk’s backpack, both of the suspects ran away from the scene.
Telecommunicators provided a description of the suspects to Patrol Officers who immediately begun foot patrols in the area searching for the suspects. Officers were able to locate a person matching the description of the suspects who tried to run away. Officers were able to apprehend the suspect who was still carrying the backpack stolen from the victim at the restaurant.
Trejuan White, 20, was arrested and placed in the Onslow County Jail under a $105,300 bond. He is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, assault by pointing a gun, carrying a concealed weapon, felony possession stolen property, and warrant service.
The second suspect is still at large. He is described as a white male or light-skinned Hispanic male about 5’7.” He is 18-25 years old with possible facial hair along the jawline.
