Partnership for Children creating Kinston Storywalk

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – A new family outing is combining exercise with education.

The Partnership for Children of Lenior and Greene counties created the Storywalk. It will display favorite childhood storybooks as you walk through Pearson Park.

There will be about 20 stops along the path with pages from books like ‘The Rainbow Fish’ and Dr. Seuss.

Children can interact with characters from the stories along the way as well.

The only way to finish the story is to finish the path.

The Storywalk will be up and running in the spring of 2017.
