9OYS takes part in Vidant VolunTEEN leadership session

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A very big thanks to Vidant Medical Center’s VolunTEEN program.

I spent my morning taking part in their leadership session. We talked about everything from professionalism to communication skills.

The 15 to 17-year-olds are required to complete 25 hours of service this summer. These particular sessions allow the teens to get exposure to leaders within the hospital as well as in the community.

ECU baseball coach Cliff Godwin also spoke Monday morning.
