RICHLANDS, N.C. (WNCT) – Deputies in Onslow County arrested one man and located two other men wanted for questioning in a Richlands homicide.
Jail records show 30-year-old Shane Rehm was in the Onslow County Jail as of Wednesday morning. He was charged with Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, 2 Counts Assault with Dead Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury. He was detained in the Onslow County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond for the assault charges, and no bond for the murder charge.
Deputies say the homicide occurred on Monday night around 10:30 p.m. at a residence on Wiggs Road.
Deputies arriving at the scene for a reported assault found the victim, Martin Meza, being cared for by EMS. He had been stabbed with a knife and later succumbed to his injuries. Two other victims, Humberto Meza and Jesus Meza, were also assaulted and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. All three of the men were brothers.
Investigators said there were three suspects involved and the victim knew at least one of them.
Two other men being questioned are 29-year-old David Anthony Ray of Penny Road in Beulaville and 27-year-old Brycen Alexander Spatafora also of Penny Road, Beulaville.
