Investigation continues in fatal Sunday morning fire in Wilson

WILSON, N.C. (WNCT) – Wilson County Police and Fire and Rescue are investigating a fatal fire Sunday morning.

Police tell 9 On Your Side that officers were sent to a house fire on 2005 Noland Drive. As officers arrived, the Wilson Fire and Rescue along with the EMS were providing lifesaving aid to 25-year-old Jamie Hill. Hill died from his injuries.

Police say a preliminary investigation shows no foul play and that the incident could be accidental.
