GPD looking to build relations at local barbershop

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville police are eyeing your favorite stop down the block for a haircut.

That’s because officers want to build relations at local barbershops. The idea comes from a program in Charlotte.

Cops and barbers are uniting to keep the conversation going between the law and the community served.

Four shops have already signed up to participate, most near uptown and one off of 10th Street.

Others interested can contact GPD’s officer Richie Williams, who’s spearheading Greenville’s Cops and Barbers.
