Greenville law enforcement and public come together through basketball

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Hundreds of citizens from the community and the law enforcement shared the court on Saturday at the Hoops, Hope & Honor CommUNITY All-Star Basketball Event.

The aim of the evening was to promote positive interaction and relationships with the community and law enforcement here in the east.

Basketball was used as common ground to exemplify teamwork and unity.

Event coordinator Jumail Blunt was adamant saying, “We can’t change things if we don’t learn to be peaceful, coexist, understand, love, care and respect each other. This just a start.”
