Pet Food Pantry of Eastern North Carolina in need of donations

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A local organization needs help feeding hungry pets. The Pet Food Pantry of Eastern North Carolina helps people like veterans and those struggling with disabilities by providing free pet food to their dogs and cats.

Volunteer Kristen Below says they’ve already helped 474 families this month and are running out of food.

“We desperately need the donations. It is scary for us to not have enough food to help these families with their pets.”

If you are interested in helping, you can drop off food at Wild Birds Unlimited, CPW’s, 10th Street Animal Hospital, Paige N all Dogs, Hometown Harley Davidson, PetSmart, ShiponSite (Washington), Executive Personnel Group (Greenville, Washington) & 8 Balls Cycle Works (Wilson, NC).

You can also make a tax deductible monetary donation on their website at www.petfoodpantryenc.org or mail a check to Pet Food Pantry at PO Box 2492 Greenville, NC 27836
