Teen shot, killed in Durham drive-by shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police are investigating a fatal drive-by shooting that happened outside a home Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block of Woodview Drive just before 4:15 a.m., police said.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who was declared dead at the scene.

Andre Bond, 19, of Durham was later identified as the victim, Durham Police said Sunday afternoon.

The shooting does not appear to be random.

The shooting is under investigation. Police have not released the identity of the victim or any information on potential suspects.
