Missing Greenville man located

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A Greenville man reported missing Wednesday has been located.

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons canceled the Silver Alert for 46-year-old Jessie Daniels just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday.

He was reported missing after last being seen at the intersection of Firetower Road and Tower Place and in the Windsor Subdivision. Daniels was believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment and emotional distress.

Greenville Police found him at the Pizza Hut on Old Tar Road shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday. He was disoriented but unharmed. A citizen recognized him and called GPD.

Police said in a news release that a citizen recognized him and alerted them to his whereabouts.
