GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – If you’re throwing a party to celebrate Independence Day, party decorations are a must, but the costs can really add up.
We already told you how to get the most bang for your buck when it comes to food. The same thing is true for decorations.
No party is complete without festive decorations. When it comes to deciding what to buy, you should choose something that’s not only festive, but also functional.
Of course, stick to red, white and blue for your colors. Then, get your must-have party items that include plastic tablecloths, festive napkins and paper plates.
If you have some money left over, party makers manager Jennifer Parker recommends adding one additional decoration.
“Balloons. Balloons are going to be a big thing. They’re very festive. If you have a big room they’re going to fill that space for a low-cost,” she said.
You can get plates, napkins, tablecloths and balloons for a party of about 8-10 people for around $15-20, depending on the store.
Remember to compare prices and buy in bulk when you can.
