NC police officer hurt when cruiser flips several times

VASS, N.C. (WNCN) — A police officer from a Moore County town suffered minor injuries when the officer’s cruiser flipped on Sunday morning.

The crash involved a police officer from Vass and happened just before 11 a.m. on N.C. 690, the Aberdeen Times reported.

The vehicle rolled over several times before coming to a stop on its side, according to reports.

The officer was transported by ambulance to First Health Moore Regional Hospital with injuries that were reported to be not life threatening.

Cypress Pointe Fire Rescue, Moore County EMS and the NC State Highway Patrol responded to the call.
