Kiwanis wins the Greenville Little League City Championship

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Kiwanis completed a dramatic comeback in the Greenville Little League City Championship by powering past NorthCare 11-2 in Game 3 Friday evening.

Kiwanis lost Game 1 of the best of 3-game series 10-0. But, they rallied in Game 2 to even the series at 1 win a-piece, making Friday night’s showdown a winner-take-all affair.

On Friday, Kiwanis scored 3 in the first inning, 3 in the 3rd, and 5 in the sixth, on pace to an 11-2 win over NorthCare.

Harrison Gray did the rest on the mound, pitching 5.1 innings, giving up just 2 hits, while striking out 9 batters.
