Kinston felon charged with possession of firearm, numerous drug charges

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – A search warrant led to the arrest of a felon in Kinston.

It happened at a residence on Field Street Thursday just before 8 p.m.

Kinston Police Department, with assistance from the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, arrested and charged Gregory Leon Jones with 3 Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession With Intent to Sell & Deliver MDMA, Possession With Intent to Sell & Deliver Cocaine, Possession With Intent to Sell & Deliver Marijuana, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling, and Resisting Officers.  Officers seized two handguns and one shotgun.

Officers seized two handguns and one shotgun, along with about 18 grams of cocaine, 2 grams of MDMA (Mollie), 14 grams of marijuana and a set of digital scales.

Jones was placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $142,500 secured bond.

Kadadrian Hineef Jones was issued a citation for resisting officers.
