Goldsboro woman nabbed for jewelry theft

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT)- The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office makes an arrest in a jewelry theft.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on June 20, they were notified about the theft of a ruby cluster ring from a home on Pineview Cemetery Road in Seven Springs. The ring, valued at $1,500, was found at a pawn shop in Goldsboro.

An investigation then identified 45-year-old Rhonda Jo Grady as the suspect. In addition, she received money from the pawn shop after signing a receipt pledging the ring was not stolen.

Grady was taken into custody in Goldsboro without incident and given a $7,500 bond.
