Fifth suspect in Nash Co. homicide arrested

SPRING HOPE, N.C. (WNCT) – Nash County investigators arrest a fifth suspect in a homicide in Spring Hope earlier this month.

The Sheriff’s Office says 34-year-old Shandon Perry was arrest on Thursday.

Perry is the fifth person arrested in connection to the June 17th death Tony Braswell. Braswell was found shot to death in his parent’s driveway.

A day after the murder, Investigators arrested four people in connection to the crime.

Perry faces multiple charges including accessory before a crime. He was taken to the Nash County Jail and given a $50,000 bond. He scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 28th.
