KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) – On Thursday evening, Brandon Ingram will be selected in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Most projections have Ingram selected second-overall by the Los Angeles Lakers.
While his landing spot is still unknown, there’s no denying the town of Kinston is excited to support the 18-year-old, no matter where he ends up.
Kinston is hosting two separate NBA Draft Watch parties on Thursday night.
The Martin C. Freeman Recreation Center, where Brandon’s perfected his craft, will open its doors at 5 o’clock.
The Woodmen Community Center will host a watch party from 7-9 o’clock.
Both parties are free and open to the public. Food will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
The NBA Draft starts at 8 o’clock.
