Goldsboro registered sex offender charged for improper use of social media

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – 39-year-old Jasper James Jackson, Jr. was arrested on Tuesday after Wayne County officials found out he was using social media improperly.

That’s according to the North Carolina Probation and Parole Office.

On Monday, the Wayne County Sex Offender Registration Program was made aware of Jackson, Jr.’s use of social media. A warrant was then issued for his arrest.

In addition to that, he was served three warrants for assault on a female, communicating threats and harassing phone calls.

Jackson, Jr. was put in the Wayne County Detention Center.
