Raleigh’s Bo Andrews with 3-shot lead at New Bern Classic

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – Raleigh native Bo Andrews has led from day one at the New Bern Classic.

After shooting a 61 on Thursday at the Emerald Golf Club, Andrews walks into Sunday’s final round with a 3-shot lead on Justin Lower.

The 4-day tournament is a part of the Swing Thought tour, the third-most prestigious golf tour in the country, behind the Web.com and PGA Tour.

The field will compete for a championship purse of $15,000-$20,000.
