Pikeville native arrested after breaking and entering, pointing gun at 3 people

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) – The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged 35-year-old Nickolas Lancaster for breaking and entering into a Goldsboro home with a gun.

A 911 call came from Miller Street in Goldsboro and the caller reported a man came to their home bleeding from the head.

Lancaster entered the residence where he met Kenny Ray Hood in the hallway. The suspect pointed the gun at Hood’s head and threatened to kill him.

Then, Lancaster proceeded to point the gun and make threats at two others inside the home. The only victim to be injured was Hood, who was struck in the head with the gun. Three shots were fired altogether.

The third victim, Juliana Surrat, was forced into Lancaster’s vehicle and they left the area. He eventually turned himself into Detective Sargeant Larry Mitchell at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
