Two arrested for stealing firearms and boat equipment in Ayden

AYDEN, N.C. (WNCT) – The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office arrested two teens for stealing firearms from a residence in Ayden on Emma Cannon Road.

On April 20, officials responded to a breaking and entering at the residence. Between April 17-19, multiple firearms, tools, and fishing equipment were stolen from two buildings behind the owner’s home.

Alejo Sergio Martinez, 18, and Gregory Lee Eason, Jr., 17, were arrested.

Eason was arrested from Ayden-Grifton High School and was transported to the Pitt County Detention Center. Martinez was arrested from a parking lot off of Dickinson Avenue.

The investigation is ongoing.
