Greenville employee arrested for stealing from his own job, selling them for cash

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- Clifford Olszewski, 45, was charged after taking automobile parts ordered by Greenville Motor Company, and selling them to Advanced Auto Parts for cash.

An investigation confirmed that between October of 2015 and April of 2016, Olszewski was committing these acts. It stemmed from a complaint that the Pitt County Sheriffs’ received on May 2.

He was charged with five counts of obtaining property by false pretense and five counts of larceny by employee. The Farmville-native was taken to Pitt County Detention Center and placed under a $50,000 secured bond.

Additional incidents were reported by Greenville Motor Company involving Olszewski since his arrest.
