Goldsboro pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — Police are looking for the suspects in a Goldsboro pharmacy robbery.

It happened Sunday afternoon around 1:10 when the pair walking into Wayne Pharmacy on Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro.

Major Anthony D. Carmon of the Goldsboro Police said the two were armed with handguns and wearing masks to cover their faces.

“They ordered all employees and customers on the ground and stole an undetermined amount of US currency and pharmaceutical grade drugs,” he said.

No one was injured during the robbery. The suspects, who also wore latex gloves, fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The drug store surveillance system captured several photos of the men.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Goldsboro Police Department Investigator J. Sturgill at 919-580-4211 or Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or text at 919-222-4230.

Callers will remain anonymous and if your information leads to a felony arrest you will be given a cash reward for the information. Crime Stoppers gives cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to felony arrests.
