NEW BERN, N.C.- Hundreds packed the yard at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School Saturday for the strawberry festival.
There was live entertainment, a street dance, craft show, parade, rides, demonstrations by the Rescue Squad and delicious BBQ plates. Youth from around the Vanceboro area performed.
Festival goer Matthew Adams said,“The kids always love coming out here cause there is always fun rides for the kids to do and there’s always good things to eat. Funnel cake, strawberries, the helicopter ride, and they love doing that. It’s just always a blast! And we always come out here every year to just kind of have a thing to do with the family.”
