HAVELOCK, N.C. (WNCT) – The United Service Organization brought some Carolina Panthers and TopCats to Cherry Point Thursday.
The Panthers got to experience simulators, take a look at the flight line and Marines got to show off some of the equipment they use every day back at home, and while deployed.
“To get an opportunity for the Carolina Panthers to come see what we do behind the scenes, because it’s not something the world gets to see on a daily basis, has been a treat for us,” said Capt. Leonard Niedosik.
“For them to allow us to come do that it means a lot,” said Panthers Defensive End Mario Addison.
Marines were also able to get some autographs, have footballs signed and even “dabbed” with the players.
