GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A Greenville pharmacy closed after a woman drove into the front of the building Wednesday morning.
It happened at the CVS at the corner of Memorial Blvd and Stantonsburg Road just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Police say the elderly female driver mistook the gas pedal for the brake and that’s when she ran into the front of the building. She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
No charges will be filed. According to officials, this was a result of a medical condition.
The store manager said they will reopen tomorrow under normal business hours.
No other injuries were reported.
