Greenville PD arrest two after road rage incident

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Police arrested two people after a road rage incident in Greenville.

It happened after officers responded to a shots fired call on W. Arlington Blvd Monday.

Police said 24-year-old Jonathan Lewis pulled a handgun and pointed it at the victim after being involved in the road rage incident on Memorial Drive prior to that.

Both parties exited their vehicle and that’s when Lewis pulled out his gun and shot it in the air. He left the scene and officials quickly spotted the car and arrested Lewis, as well as the passenger, 23-year-old Lindsey Lee.

All charges include Assault by Pointing a gun, Discharge weapon in the City Limits, Resist, Delay Obstruct an Officer, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
