Ringo Starr cancels show in Cary in opposition of HB2

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Music legend Ringo Starr has canceled his North Carolina performance in Cary in opposition of HB2. Starr is the second musician to cancel an appearance in North Carolina since the ordinance was passed.

“I’m sorry to disappoint my fans in the area, but we need to take a stand against this hatred. Spread peace and love,” said Ringo Starr. “How sad that they feel that this group of people cannot be defended.”
