GREENVILLE, N.C. (WCNT) – Pitt County Community College tried to fill over a hundred open jobs in the area by holding its Spring job fair.
The opportunities are open for full-and-part-time students, distance learners, and alumni.
Over 40 businesses attended to recruit future employees for full-and-part-time positions.
These types of events highlight just some of the jobs that are available for those graduating from community colleges.
“We have manufacturing positions, healthcare positions and paralegal positions. It really there is something here for all of our majors to take advantage of,” said Rachel Bridgers, career outreach specialist.
According to PCC, 70-percent of its graduates remain in Pitt County after completing their studies.
