Photos released in string of vandalism incidents reported in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Police are investigating a string of vandalism incidents in the Jacksonville area.

Officers said in a news release Thursday morning that the incidents involve broken glass to vehicles and businesses over the last several days. Investigators determined that a pellet gun was used to damage property to vehicles and commercial businesses in the areas of Bryn Marr, Bell Fork Homes and NC Hwy 24.

It’s believed that the suspects may be driving a tan or gold 1990’s small pickup truck with an extended cab.  Detectives also think there may be other incidents that have not been reported.

If you have been a victim of this type of vandalism property damage recently, you’re asked to contact JPD Detective Jason Miller at 910-938-6416. Likewise, if you have information about the incidents or the vehicle, please contact Detective Miller at 938-6416 or jmiller@jacksonvillenc.gov or Crime Stoppers at 910-938-3273.
