Greenville man sentenced for cocaine possession

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – A Greenville man has pleaded guilty to possession with intent to sale and deliver cocaine.

Officials said 32-year-old Tony Antwan was sentenced to 5 to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty in Superior Court on Wednesday.

“Greenville Police Officers provided sufficient evidence to move this case forward, and today justice in our court of law was administered,” explained Assistant District Attorney Anthony Futrell.

Brown was originally arrested back on May 7th, 2015 near Larkin Drive.

“We are closely related to so many others of our community, seeking to make our county safer,” said District Attorney Kimberly S. Robb.”We have to use many tools from the toolbox and active time is one of them.”
