BETHEL- North Pitt continued to overcome adversity and punched its ticket to the Eastern Finals in Fayetteville with a 60-54 win over TW Andrews in overtime Wednesday night.
North Pitt improved to 28-1 with the victory. The Panthers will now play top seed East Bladen (31-0) on Saturday at 4pm.
“We had to pull it together and play as a team,” said interim coach Yolanda Bowden. “And when we play as a team, we come together as a team, we win as a team so that is what happened tonight.”
Bowden replaced Neal Carr, who was suspended for an alleged recruiting issue.
