Cedar Street Park public meeting announced

BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) – The town of Beaufort is seeking the public’s input to determine what the west end of the Cedar Street Waterfront Park should look like once the Grayden Paul Bridge is gone.

The meeting will be held Thursday, March 3, in the Train Depot, 614 Broad St.

There will be a presentation at 5:30 p.m. where afterwards the public will be encouraged to ask questions and provide input.

Landscape Architect Susan Hatchell will share three different concepts – history/heritage, art and nature that were presented to the Cedar Street Waterfront Park Steering Committee during its Feb. 11 meeting. She used the feedback from the committee to refine the three plans into what will be presented on Thursday.
