CarolinaEast Medical Center launches new visitor policy

NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) – Happening Tuesday, CarolinaEast Medical Center in New Bern starts its new visitor check-in system called Fast-Pass.

From now on, visitors have to check in at a Fast-Pass kiosk to get a photo I.D. sticker. This is part of an effort to enhance hospital security.

The passes are required for people visiting the Women’s and Children’s Care areas, the second floor, or the Emergency Department after 9 p.m.

Adults will also have to show a photo I.D.
