They want community members to help them “Get Out The Vote” by giving people rides on election day or helping them register to vote. The group says their efforts are non-partisan and they aren’t pushing a certain agenda, they just want people to vote.

Get Out The Vote volunteer Jermaine McNair said, “This is a call for any member or any group, it doesn’t matter what organization you’re a part of or what group affiliation you have. The goal is to get as many people actively involved in the democratic process, and get them to the polls.”

McNair says it’s extremely important for people to get out and vote.He says communities are stronger when people are involved in the democratic process.
