SportWorks hosts 18th annual banquet

GREENVILLE (WNCT) – The SportWorks ministry at East Carolina held its 18th annual fund raising banquet on Thursday night.

Former East Carolina wide receiver Justin Hardy was among those who shared their testimony. Pirate baseball coach Cliff Godwin, ECU baseball player Kirk Morgan, new Pirate football coach Scottie Montgomery and Pirate receiver Isaiah Jones all spoke to the capacity crowd.

Chuck Young began the ECU chapter in the late 1990’s. He and his family welcome in East Carolina athletes for meals and fellowship throughout the school year.
