Riley’s Army partners with Kick Cancer for Kids for NC license plates

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Riley’s Army is teaming up with two mothers from eastern North Carolina to create license plates to support those fighting pediatric cancer.

The group must find 500 people interested in getting the plates before they can take the design to the General Assembly.

“Right now, we’re just really pushing the licenses plates to help these moms out,” said Terra Williams, Riley’s Army. “We really want to see them everywhere and just create awareness all over North Carolina.”

The plates cost $30 a year and portions of the proceeds go to cancer research.
