Sign raising for future Richlands Elementary School

RICHLANDS, N.C. (WNCT) – In Onslow County, Board of Education members and Commissioners gathered at the site of the future Richlands Elementary School.

Crews raised the sign for the new school and construction is expected to be complete by 2018.

The old school is currently 89 years old and this replacement school will be built to accommodate more than 800 students.
