LCSO: 16-year-old shot Monday morning in La Grange

LaGrange, N.C. (WNCT) – The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting that sent a teenager to the hospital.

It happened at 12:25 Monday morning on the 400 block of West James Street in La Grange.

A Sheriff’s Office incident report says a 16-year-old was shot in the stomach with a small caliber gun. The report also list a 19-year-old male as a suspect.
