TRAFFIC ALERT: Roads, bridges slick in Pitt County

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT)- Greenville Police are urging residents to stay off the roadways during the inclement weather.

Police say roads and bridges are extremely slick Saturday morning. They say officers have responded to several wrecks on North Memorial at the overpass near the airport.

Police say ice is also an issue on the 264 overpass near the intersection of Greenville Blvd and 10th street. Officers say there no serious injuries are reported.

The tell us DOT crews are on their way with salt.
