Greenville fire displaces 3 adults, 7 children

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Greenville Fire and Rescue says a fire on Roundtree Drive displaced three adults and seven children Saturday night. The call came in around 7:45 p.m. and investigators are now working to determine the cause.

The Red Cross is assisting the people displaced and are providing a hotel room for nine people. WNCT’s Brandon Goldner spoke with the owner who said the family is doing well and she believes the fire started in the fireplace.

Greenville Fire and Rescue says the fire is still under investigation.
