Winter weather causing several school delays in the ENC

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Winter weather is causing several schools to delay the start of classes on Thursday.

In Martin County, the Northeast Regional School of Biotechnology and Argriscience is operating on a one-hour delay.

Schools operating on two-hour delays include the following:

Martin County Schools: 2-hour delay

Bertie County Schools: 2-hour delay

Washington County Schools: 2-hour delay

Hertford County Schools: 2-hour delay

Nash Rocky Mount Public Schools: 2-hour delay

Perquimans County Schools: 2-hour delay

Edgecombe County Public Schools say is operating on a three-hour delay for students and staff.
